Let's make a thread to show our advancement in the game(hours played, hr, or any accomplishment )

Since I've been playing hardcore mode (but still taking my time) I finished every quest available in caravan (it means except the hr required ones)

I'm Hr4 with 161:30 of gameplay

I'm with the garuga S armor with critical eye 1, razor sharp, evasion 1 and hg earplugs

Now it's your turn!

Oh wow. I haven't had anywhere near that amount of time to sink into the game. I've only got 83 hours on MH4U so far. I'm doing more or less the same thing I did in MH3U - blitzing the game with a GS-only character, starting with offline first.

I am finally up to 10* caravan - finished the story, just got some of those extra quests to do, and of course there are the ~secret~ quests that you need to be HR7 to unlock. So right now I'm sort of alternating between doing some 10* quests and soloing early gathering hall quests. Right now I'm focusing on Molten Tigrex. I've fought two so far, and I still need a few more mats from it to upgrade my GS. Currently using Cheda Blade, and very close to upgrading it to Cheda Blade+. Seregios GS is wicked.

Other than that...only major news is that I managed to get a LR Yian Garuga guild quest, and that seems to be in semi-high demand among collectors, so I might actually have something to trade now.

Meanwhile, my whole playthrough so far has been very minimalist, and I've hardly made any armor at all so far. I went through all of low rank up to Shagaru Magala using the default Derring armor they give you in the beginning. After my first fight with Shaggy, I got tired of getting pretty much one-shot by its off-camera homing attacks, so I went ahead and made the Gore/Ceanataur [Sharp+1, Razor Sharp] mix that was so popular at the time. I then carried that armor around all the way to Seregios and a little after, and then I decided to go ahead and make a better set for High Rank. However, I was still to lazy to make a 'proper' set, so I basically just threw together a set with what I could forge without much farming. That resulted in two sets: [AuM, Focus, Adrenaline+1], and [AuS, Focus, Adrenaline+2].

Yup I have cheap blade + and love it. I mean, I don't even want to use another weapon XD the auto sharp is sooooo lovely XD

You're not playing at the same level as me XD I make every armor that comes to my mind, I made the blos S in high rank then I made the seltas S to try artillery God on CB and finished by making the garuga ^^ I'm waiting to get to Frank to get real gs skills

Lolyeah - I just don't have the time to make everything along the way, and I don't really want to invest too much effort into making LR and HR armors when they are all mostly outclassed by G-Rank armors. Heck, even weapons - after some of the Excavated weapons I've seen, I'm not sure I want to spend too much time trying to upgrade or collect all the weapons either.

Relic weapons are worth farming only on g rank XD before it's useless I have a lot of tips to post, need to make a topic about that

I've seen people post some pretty insane stats for their excavated GS. A guy posted on gameFAQs about a GS he excavated that had like 330 base raw and innate purple sharpness and 2 slots and some paralysis attribute, with the only ~downside~ being that it had -20% affinity, which is pretty much not a problem at all.

Looking forward to it. I'm up to HR3 from soloing in gathering hall, and the health multipliers are only just now starting to make things tedious. I've been hearing that gathering hall monsters have 2.5x the their offline counterparts, and a lot of the monsters I've hunted so far do indeed seem very fat.

Meanwhile, I just finished hunting my third Molten Tigrex. Finally got all the fangs and scales I need from it for Cheda Blade+. Now I just need 1 more breacher from Seregios to actually upgrade. Luckily I got the dissenter already.

I also just got a sweet potential+6, stamina+1 talisman. It's nothing too special, but it does basically mean that now I can turn any set into an adrenaline+2 set just using BLP and that talisman.

I'm still stuck in the lowbie ranks, as you can see from my sig. Haven't had much time to play, but I should be able to make some good progress this break. I have managed to collect every SA, HH and most GSes so far.

I managed to make a ton of progress today, with the most I've managed to hunt in a long while.

I cleared all non-urgent caravan quests in rank 6 and 7 that I hadn't yet, and almost finished 8.

Online, I've reached rank 7 with some help from Raven.

A whole lot of elder dragons now stand before me, and I think that, with a little weapon upgrading, I'm pretty much ready to fight to the end of the Caravan soon.

Other than that, all I've done in-game of note recently is upgrade to Cheda Blade+ and solo Dah'ren Mohran in gathering hall.

Lol. I'm also pretty much going for the same goal. I'll probably focus on getting to HR7 to unlock all the caravan quests, then head back to caravan for a while to clear it out before I get too overpowered in G-Rank gear.

^ that's the whole point XD but don't all the quests in caravan males me want to blast through hr guild, since I've already farmed everything I could (except Akantor teostra Rajang kushala daora)

I've managed to defeat all of the six star offline urgents now, except for the Caravaneer's Challenge.

This quest is infinitely harder than the Brachy/Azure/Ivory hunt from 3U, and no matter what supplies I bring, I just can't seem to manage it. I've been killed by the Magara's shadow ground bursts whenever I take a blow from him. I've nearly burnt through all of my supplies fighting this thing.

Two Zinogre Jaspers though, so not all bad.

Where do you get this quest? :O I've done every quests available

As you go up in HR online, new quests unlock offline. They're multiple chains f quests that eventually lead to rewards, and the brutal Caravaneer's Challenge.

Oh no I just forgot to talk to the dude in cathar for the kushala daora ^^ gonna try the challenge

I'm as far as the first frenzy monster offline. But tomorrow I'll be making some good progress tomorrow or Tuesday.

Lol. Time really got away from me this week in terms of MH progress. I was kinda hoping to at least be starting G-rank by now, but in all likelihood that's going to take at least another week, unless some of you are online on these next weekday afternoons/nights - ready to blitz some high-rank online quests. I'll probably solo a few, but iunno how long that's going to take, and I'm not sure I really have the patience or can justify the time investment of soloing those fat online monsters with their gathering-hall-inflated HP. Meh...

At least I have Cheda Blade+, which more or less looks like a solid ~end of HR, move on to GR for better options~ weapon.

Just finished the Caravaneer's challenge 30min of fight, no deaths, no potions left except my ancient one. Can't post the pic, but I'm proud to have finished it with high rank gear did it on my 5th try

Well done! I'm still failing hard at it.

I think Rajang has earned a place as my second most hated monster, with first being Najarala and third being Black Diablos.

Lol seriously? XD I love those 3, najarala is a punching bag x)

Rajang has low health so the pain doesn't last long.I found the Dual Rajang in mhfu harder than zinogre + Rajang xD

And I love black blos cuz she's fast when raged and she hits like a truck
