Lol - I know how you feel...sort of.
I mean, somewhat luckily for me, pretty much none of the DLC is of such significant value to a GS-exclusive character that I would feel the need to play it right now. Although, the EX Ingot armor does have Quick Sheathe points on it and some decent slots - the full set would be meh, but I suppose one or two of its pieces might be useful for GS users.
I did the Remobra-slaying, fanclub quest. There's also a subquest that rewards you for hunting the tetsucabra that shows up, and so far
that has actually been a really good way to get claws (which I needed more of for Charger Jewel 1). So, I finally have good old BLP (or BLC, technically, since Blademaster). I am
massively disappointed in the other ~fan club~ armor though, because I was expecting Hellhunter Jacket with readymade survivor +10 for Fortify and maybe some slots. Instead we get the fanclub jacket/tracksuit which give Protection+10 (no slots), and the rider jacket, which gives gloves off+10 (no slots either). I suppose Rider Jacket isn't too bad if you like Latent Power...but meh. Ah well, according to Kiranico, there
is a Survivor+10 mail in the game (or at least, there is a dummy placeholder for a Survivor+10 mail, that apparently requires seltas queen mats and 2 event items of some kind...so hopefully
that's the Hellhunter Jacket we know and love).
Man...it would've been so nice to have Survivor and Adrenaline+2, especially now that I have Cheda Blade, which more or less renders Sharpness+1 and Speed Sharpening useless (although I do have AuM on my current set too, so it's not like I'm running around with no skills just because I'm too lazy to farm for new armor...just running around sub-optimal as ****, without so much as focus/crit draw/qs).
Fun stuff...
Already looking forward to the next DLC. Too bad it looks like the wait is going to be another month?
Ah well - I do get a kick out of the ~item found~ guild card pose and treasure background combination. It would probably look even more amusing if I could make Link's armor. Although the skills on Link's armor looked kinda meh. I'd probably make it just for laughs, and maybe spend some time re-watching the game cinematics with Link armor on. Fun times.
