Like I said, I'm not convinced it's not worth the purchase in my books. Moreover, it would have been a preorder/day-one buy if I had a PS4, so to change it from bold now would basically just be a kind of revisionist history that, imo, would have been slightly more shameful. Keep in mind that I crossed Evolve off the list well before it was really certain whether it would be worth it or not (and some critics still seem to be on the fence - heck, Jim Sterling actually seems to enjoy the game well enough - if only it weren't for the horrible business model and marketing tactics).
Meh, I'm trying to refrain from retconning the list too much, even to correct ~inaccuracies~. Notice that I also have not bolded MH4U, even though I did wind up preordering it and getting it on day one (or at least, it was delivered on day one - even though I got to a late start). Anyways, the list is what it is, and like Bethesda, I pretty much just haphazardly ported it without paying too much attention to the editing when I copy & pasted. Heck - it still says Break Record instead of Record Breaker, as of writing this. I guess at some point I'll go through the list and update it, or else post a timestamped changelog of sorts, to better reflect the development of the list?
I mean, you do make some good points. Obviously I didn't receive The Order on day one and play through it, despite having had more than 5 hours of free time [sick burn] in the past few days.
Anyways...yeah...
At some point, I'll overhaul the list. Maybe even go through Xbone games...not that I personally need much of a list. Off the top of my head - Psycho-Pass: Happiness Without Choice, Halol 5, Quantum Break, Scalebound, and...maybe I guess the Phantom Dust remake/reboot. So wow...yeah...1 game that might not even make it to NA, 1 game that could be incredible and fresh or a miserable gimmicky failure, one game that could be cool, but may be little more than a MH-wannabe that leaves you wondering why you wasted your time playing on an Xbone instead of investing in MH proper, and one game that hinges entirely on the merits and cult popularity of the title it is a remake/reboot of.
